Cask ale at the Union Inn, Plympton. Bubbly, fawn-coloured head, clingy lacing. Rosewood coloured body. Mid-sweet dark malty aroma of earth and liquorice. taste of dark dough, caramel and liquorice. Slightly roasted malty ending. Well rounded palate. Pretty nice (Shared with Finn, 25.09.2016).

Bottle shared at Moncada Tap Room, Ladbroke Grove, West London, Friday 7th October 2016 This was a very lively pour, there was some discussion as to whether there might be a slight infection but then I think we sort of dismissed that notion, but it’s lively. Soft in the mouth and a touch smokey, lingering roastiness, really not getting much oysters or brineyness, it’s unremarkable but it’s fine A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle shared at Moncada, Friday 7th October 2016 Lovely aroma, however mmhhh... this is going to be too spicy yes it is too spicy, Ang’ thinks too sweet. Lots of chocolate and vanilla in the mouth, it’s got the potential to be a very good beer but spice overload with cinnamon in particular ruining matters. A7 A3 T6 P4 Ov13 3.3

500ml bottle from the brewer. Pours a lightly misty amber, good white head. Aroma is light honey and pale malt. Taste is smooth, sweet golden ale territory. The sweetness of the malt is accentuated nicely by a subtle, teasing honey presence. A pleasing, lightly sweet sessionable golden ale.

330ml bottle from the brewer. Pours hazy gold, good white head. Aroma is light tropical elements, some malt. Taste is crisp, with a robust hop bitterness. Some biscuity malt leanings with shades of grapefruit. Nice, refreshing IPA.

Bottle from Fowey Wines, Fowey. Copper-amber with no head. Bitter in style, but no real bitterness, just a dull tasting light malty-sweetness.
