This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a half minute. There was some light trickling lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell was a burnt breadiness with a burnt citrus hops.
The taste was exactly the same with a slight cardboard aftertaste.
On the palate, this sat about a light on the body with not much of a sessionability about it due to the off taste.
Overall, this \"highly evolved\" beer maybe is devolving. I went through an entire sixer just so it wasn’t just the one beer, but it was all the same. I didn’t care for this at all.

Bottle 12fl.oz. [ As Great Basin Wild Horse Ale ].Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt, dusty malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, malty, light vomit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140118]

Bottle - Jalapeno and sweet caramel malts. Clear copper with a rich white head. Caramel malts, jalapeno and piney resin. Finish is a bit of resin and quite dry. Although I don’t get double IPA style, I think the jalapeno is balanced well in the ale.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark amber to brown body under a small, off-white head. The aroma has some caramel maltyness and some dried fruits, with a touch of nuts. The flavor is pretty fruity, with caramel maltyness and some nuts, dried fruits too. Medium body, quite dry on the palate, soft carbonation. Short malty finish with some caramel maltyness. Really boring this one, but it downs easily. 140118
