0.355l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a blurry honey-colored thing with a small quickly sidesticking just off-white bubbly top. It smells not to extreme. Actually somewhat mellow. Hard to describe as anything other than hop-faded and a bit to old. It's soft on the carbonation and quite slick oily on the mouthfeel. Sweet in taste, the hops have faded a bit to much, but there are only really soft traces of bitterness. Some melon zesty yeastiness and a soft peppery and herbal graininess in the finish. Would have deserved a better destiny than being stored for over a year. 09.01.2013

Update of old tick (feb 2013). Pint somewhere in Vegas. The fact that it only got ticked as a 3 means I was underwhelmed.

Sample at Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay. The beer is slightly hazy dark golden color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is hoppy with some citrus notes. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and malt. The finish is short with a mildly hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draught at Freakin’ Frog, Las Vegas
Amber color, creamy head, nice lace. The aroma is quite nice, caramel and resiny hops, some bitter oranges. Correct body strength, with caramel flavor, moderate sweetness, a bit fruity, not too resiny nor aggressive, correct bitterness; strangely there is a light ashy touch in the end.

Cask at Rubicon for Sacramento Beer Week. Pours dark brown with a creamy beige head. Light malty aroma. Med body. Flavor is sort of Irish in my mind - whatever that means. I could believe this is some variation of Guinness. Smooth, mellow, nicely resiny bitter.
