Half a litre of draft with a meal at Nel Forno restaurant in Brno. Not the best Czech pilsner.

[As Premium Lager] 500mL can. Pours clear gold with a white head. Herbal grass and biscuit malts on the nose. Flavour has soft biscuit malts, straw, a bit stale. Very weak carbonation. It's okay.

0,5 can. 11-es Kozel, let's see if it's better than the one available here. The can is nice, the beer is pale gold, but the foam is pleasant, snow-white, quite dense. Aroma: normal, higher-quality industrial lager aroma, a little hoppy, with normal pure malt. Unfortunately, it had a very watery effect, carbonation is medium, rather weak. Sour, industrial dozen-beer flavor, definitely not a normal Czech pilsner level, this is below it.. Bitterness: more metallic than hoppy, but it's there. Drinkable, but I wouldn't buy a carton of this in the summer...

Kozel, lássuk jobb-e a nálunk kaphatónál. A doboz szép, a sör halvány arany, a habja viszont tetszetős, hófehér, elég tömör.
