Bottled
A bit hazy ruby color, small off-white head. Caramellty, grassy nose. Light, caramelly, butterscotchy and grassy flavor. It is kind of Scotch ale, but not really really enjoyable one.

(6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Muddy brown. Aroma of some malt but mostly some not-so-pleasant hoppiness (is it possible?!). Sweetish caramelly flavor at first with a bit of sugar and hints of chocolate and finishes with medium hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy golden with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, butter and alcohol. Medium body with a low carbonation, some caramel notes and only a subdued bitterness in the finish. Very hot and boozy though. More of a Malt Liquor really. 290608

RBESG08 grand tasting So I DID have it. Funny enough, I didn’t remember having it after I’ve seen the empty bottle near the end of the tasting. Definitely not a thing to brag about. Murky orange colour. Malt, some soy sauce and alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty taste, with some eggs, bad graininess and alcohol. I really didn’t like it all that much it seems, which would explain why I chose to forget about it.
