12oz bottle pours with a clear gold body that supports a booming billowing off white head. Uh oh. Not a good start to this rate. The aroma offers up lemon and lime tartness as well as sweeter citrus and malty notes. It doesn’t taste as messed up as it looks. I get bitter grapefruit and lemon citrus flowing quickly into malt sweetened tangelo. Amid the bitter citrus it gets a tad juicy even just as the pale ale almost biscuit maltiness bubbles to the surface. This is pretty nice even in poor shape as this is.
