Cask @ White Lion, Heptonstall Beer Festival. Light gold with a thin head. Has floral characters in both nose and flavour, but more so in the latter aspect that includes a lingering blueberry fruit.

500ml bottle - Dark amber/ruby body, thin white froth on top, rich caramel nose. Sharp malty tang on the way in, bitterness and crisp spicy orange on the way out. It seems okay, but not the best I’ve had from Nook.

500ml bottle - Deep ruby body, thin white head, rich fruity nose with a bit of roastiness in there. Medium bodied yet full flavoured with a robust fruitiness, sweet caramel and vanilla that carries through to the finish. Better than Newcastle Brown.

On cask at Picturedrome in Holmfirth - let down a bit by being in a plastic glass, but still shone through as a decent brew. Nice light and crisp, pale golden body, white head that laces nicely. Notes of citrus and hops shine through. Quality brew.
