Bottle from that shop in Malton. Appearance - deep amber with no head or bubbles worth a mention. Nose - apple skin and dry apples. Taste - loads of appleskin again. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - a nice still dry tangy cider

750ml bottle. Pale yellow gold colour, shortlived bubbly white head and aroma of fruity apple, funk, apricot, pineapple. Taste is sweetish apple, fruity, apricot & pineapple notes, citric, barnyard, woody oak, drying, tannins. Crisp mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sugar, alcohol, dried fruits, malt. Flavour is sugar, alcohol, caramel, malt, hop, dried fruits. Medium body. Ordinary beer. KRS 080814.

Hazy brown with thin soapy head. Dry and malty with a light fruitiness. Perhaps a bit of raisin in there too. Certainly marketed as an Abbey Dubbel but lacking in a bit of depth and complexity of many of its Belgian counterparts.

From cask. Pours hazy yellow with a small to fully gone head. Aroma is crisp sweet apples. Sweet, fruity and light zesty. Lingering fruit and crisp apples.
