500ml bottle in a box (ooooh!!!!) from Waitrose - Clear amber body, not much head. Nose is a honeyed mix of citrus fruits, taste has a sharp citrus hit, unripe mango and a long bitter finish. Okay enough, but nothing to make me want another or chase the series.

500ml bottle from In Pivo Veritas in Moscow. Pours clear brown with a small beige head. Aroma is nutty, toffee, dates. Taste is medium sweet, malt, toffee, raisins. Light bitter and slightly boozey finish.

Bottle. Waitrose. Xmas gift from the missus. She likes to throw in a few ticks. Soft haze on a pale gold. Fine white head. Nose has jammy hop. Touch of spice. Ginger biscuit grain. Some candied peel. Taste sets off sweet and biscuity, with a moderate citrus peel bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Fine carbonation. Lingering moderate bitterness to finish. Couldn’t detect any oak ageing, but nevertheless this was a nice, old school IPA.

0,5l bottle from Stonemanor, The British Store near Brussels. F: medium, egg-white, average retention. C: gold, clear. A: malty, citrus, lemon, floral, spicy. T: light malty base, light hoppy, honey touch, nice balanced bitterness, low to medium carbonation, very refreshing, enjoyed.
