Black with thin dark head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of roasted bitter malts. Plenty of bitter coffee too. Soft. Oily.

Red brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are dominated by a strong meaty, smoked ham feel. Technically good but not my thing.

330mL bottle at Maryensztadt, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a bit of smoke, maybe some peat as well, with light roast. Flavour is intense and complex, with a wonderful peaty smoke character, followed by vanilla, light caramel and a hint of roast. On the sweeter side, but the peat balances it beautifully. Excellent.

On tap at Maryensztadt, pours a dark copper with a small beige head. Nose brings out earthy hops, light cardboard, and bready malt. Flavour is way too malty and unbalanced, with lots of bready caramel, some oxidation, and sweet resinous hops that aren't nearly expressive enough. Poorly balanced, cloying and cardboard-like. Not good.

On tap at Maryensztadt, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Nose bings out lots of lacto, citrus dry hopping and tart pineapple. Flavour follows accordingly, with lots of citrus and floral dry hopping, melding well with the pineapple. Lots of depth and very vibrant. Solid.

On tap at Maryensztadt, pours an opaque dirty orangey brown with a small beige head - looks like shit. Aroma brings out some butyric, with tart citrus, and pithy stone fruits. Flavour is very pithy and yeasty, with lots of dirty stone fruits, tart citrus, and some butyric. Something very wrong here - lots of infected notes, but that was predictable by the appearance and nose. Not good.

On tap at Maryensztadt, pours a cloudy dull golden, with no head. Nose brings out faded fuzzy citrus fruits, with some lacto and a slight earthy character. Flavour is brighter, with tart citrus upfront, followed by lacto. Not much depth, but the bright tart citrus is decent. Okay.
