13/4/2019. From Bag in a Box, at Hull Real Ale & Cider Festival, 2019. As Wilkins Farmhouse Sweet. Pours hazy/cloudy golden orange with minimal head. Aroma of stewed apples and sweet apple crumble. Medium plus sweetness, moderate tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Nice tart/sweet mix to finish. Liked it.

BIAB at Hull Real Ale & Cider Fest 2019. Hazy orange gold colour, no head and mild gluey vinegary aroma. Taste is sharp, vinegar tart and then sweet mellow apple with alittle dry tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, very tart vinegary finish. Quite OK

Draught at the Apple, Bristol. Hazy golden colour, no head and aroma of fruity apple, funk. Taste is tangy apple, woody, drying apple skin, leathery barnyard funk, vinefar, straw and some tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, very dry finish. Quite OK.

Cask at Pig's Ear '17,day one, 05/12/17. Hazed golden with a decent off white cap for a cider that soon floats away. Nose is orchard fruit, apple skins, light barnyard, caramel, sweet notes, hedgerow. Taste comprises light funk, sharp apple, oak, caramel, sweet and sour, straw, raw orchard. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Decent funky cider.

Polypin (6%) at Pig's Ear 2017. It pours hazy golden small white head. The aroma is earth, musty, apple pie, musty, apple skin, funk, dirty barnyard. vanilla and oak. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, slick, apple pie, apple cider vinegar, tart, touch of acidity, tannin, musty, vinous and white grape with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Medium body and soft carbonation. Oily mouth - feel. Quite a classy cider. Good depth. Works for me!

Cask at pigs ear. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with no head. Aroma is tart and funky, sour green apple. Palate is pithy and tart, mellow carbonation,. Flavour is semi sweet crisp, gooseberry, white grape, apple, clean apple. Good.

Draught at Post Office Vaults, Birmingham, 29.11.17. Hazy golden. No head or lacing. Aroma of fresh apples and apple zest. Refreshing taste of dry apple juice and cider. Slightly waterish.

Box @ Stable, Birmingham. Pours murky browny gold. Aroma is medicinal, muddy. Continues to taste with additional TCP, worn plaster and tangy woody tannins on the finish. Awful.
