Polycask at The Orchard Inn, Bristol, 27.01.12 Pours very dry, in fact when tasted alongside the Hecks KIngston Black it is mouth puckeringly dry. Tangy and dryness are the keywords here, touch hard at times, some sourness on the nose, great stuff. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

From a polypin at the Wellington, Bristol 29/05/10. Hazy, straw coloured. Big barnyard aroma of sulphur and manure with some dryish fruit. Easy drinking with yeasty fruit and a dry finish with just a hint of sugar. Good.

From a polypin at the Orchard, Bristol 16/03/10. Deep gold in colour. A strange combination this one - rustic, barnyardy notes upfront, with plenty of dry tannins and yeast, followed by a mellow, artificial sweetness in the finish. Clashed a bit, but a change from the usual.

From the barrel at the Wenlock. Cloudy gold colour with thin white head. Sour green apple aroma, but then sour, acidic zest in the mouth. Bit of rubber. Quite outrageously dry on the end. Aroma is nice. the sourness in the mouth takes a bit of getting used to. Tannic/sour and dry finish, puckering to the extreme. I would prefer a bit more juice to my cider 2.6 draught at Orchard Inn Briatol. dry cider. some decent apple flavour. Good tannin. puckering tannins. decent.
