[Cask at Reading BF] Last beer of the fest for me, getting so cold in the marquee by this stage that I reckon soup would have been a better bet! Despite that, I still enjoyed this - it’s gold with a moderate white head. Flavours of pine, lychee and lemon, with a slightly dry finish. Right, off to get the bus home for a hot chocolate to warm up! c3

Pigs Ear. Clear dark amber beer. Not much of a head. Light semi dry palate. Low carbonation. Nice dark toffee backbone. Very mild spices, almost not there. A little lacto. Barely there hops, just a little fruit. Semi dry finish. Somewhat against the odds it’s quite well joined up.
