Pigs Ear Festival, Hackney. Evocative name - was hoping for something a bit different. Got an utterly standard bitter, nothing special whatsoever! Competent but inseperable from the crowd.

Cask conditoned at Pig’s Ear 2007. Dark orange/brown colour with lasting beige head. Bit of farty yeast on aroma. Bit chocolatey in the mouth. Hop presence isn’t great. Not sure what a womble tastes of, but if it is like this, then I won’t be sucking their fur.
