Vom Faß im Leibhaftig, Berlin (als „Wanke Pils“). - Tiefes Goldgelb, fast klar, obwohl als „naturtrüb“ angepriesen. - Geruch hefig und leicht „grün" wie ein typisches Gasthausbrauereien-Erzeugnis, nur schwache zitronige Hopfennote. - Antrunk fast dicklich malzsüß bis honigsüß, hefig, überhaupt nicht pilstypisch. Brausig rezent, trotz Süße ohne eigentlichen Körper. Im Abgang leicht krautige, sonst unaromatische, dumpfe Bittere. - Unreife, plump malzsüße, unaromatisch gehopfte Gasthausbrauereien-Plörre. (Keg at Leibhaftig, 20140419) The beer poured golden and a little bit hazy. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had clove, banana and fruitiness. Palate was somewhat light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, clove, grass, malts, mildly banana and low bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and mildly bitter. A clean mild Hefeweizen.

(Keg at Leibhaftig, Berlin, 20140419) The beer poured golden and quite clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grain, grass, fruitiness, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, grassy and bitter. A very tasty pils.

Draft @ Leibhaftig, Berlin. Dorée-orangée sur un léger trouble, col crémeux blanc. Arôme de grains, levure sur léger ester, pointe de banane et fruité avec une petite note d’épice de girofle en rétro-nasal. Palais reste axé sur une levure légère offrant un agréable ajout ester et certaine épaisseur en fin de bouche. Touche d’épice qui complète un profil grains assez épais tout cela pour une belle rondeur en fin de bouche. Le côté grains garde un aspect poussiéreux.

Fresh tasting. Has light citrus / orange notes giving it a pleasant sharpness. The finish is a little sweeter.

Tapped into a pottery stein so not sure about the appearance. It’s a fresh bitter pilsener with low carbonation. Pale malts come through well.

Aroma is moderate yeasty, fruity, yeast, moderate to light heavy banana and clove. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, clove, fruity, banana. Body is medium, texture is creamy - watery, carbonation is soft. [20121221]

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, fruity malt, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, grainy, fruity malt, grassy hops, dusty hops.
