Bottled. Brownish amber, brief head. Light citrusy nose with a hint of metal. Dry with clean, hard, primitive malt character. Some toffee and oranges. Grassy, salty finish with medium bitterness. Nice flavourwise, but the mouthfeel is fizzy and harsh.

Bottle. Orange/brown amber with a big whitish head. Fruit malt aroma. Caramel malt flavoe with some hop fruitiness. Low bitterness. It’s a pretty good rendition of a Brittish style strong bitter without going to thick.

I am only slowly getting to try this brewer’s products. This was my first tasting of this beer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a caramel color with a medium sized yellow-tan head. The aroma is sweet and vaguely nutty. The flavor is sharp and has a strong macro sour malt element with a nut undertone. The end result is rather vile and I ended up pouring this one down the drain.

Pour is a deep yellow with a white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy but nothing really stands out. Flavor is kind of bready and hoppy but again nothing stands out for you to notice. Ok beer, somthing easy to drink and not offensive.

Clear light amber body, thin off-white head. Earthy, slightly cardboardy aroma. Earthy hops and light sweet biscuity malt flavor. Has a light leafy (tobacco) kick at the end. Not very impressive or interesting.

Clearish copper body, thin off-white head. Bready aroma with hints of caramel, fig, tobacco leaf, and raisin. Sweet, sugary body, toasty and a touch caramely, balanced by plenty of earthy, leafy hops with touches of fig and raisiny tobacco leaf. I really like these sweet, leafy English-style bitters. There’s so much going on. If there’s any beer style that would go perfectly with a nice cigar, it’s this one.

Hazy copper body with abundant yeast sediment; medium clumping off-white head leaving nice lacing. Hoppy aroma, of the earthy-leafy variety, with a touch of tobacco. Full, rich Fuggles flavor with a touch of bubblegum, definite tobacco leaf, and associated earthy flavors before the bitter finish. Toasty with just the right touch of bubblegummy candy to offset the bitter resins. One of my favorite hops, delivering quite a bit of complexity, especially in relation to some of the more popular varieties. I wish more brewers would use Fuggles.

Paid $1.49 for a 12-oz single. Color is golden, no head. Scent is apple-spice a first, but then I start to smell the pumpkin. It’s a very weak scented brew. Taste is OK. It’s loaded with the pumpkin pie spices, but lacks a strong flavor... kinda thin.

Bottle. Clear amber color with a thin whitish head. Brown sugar aroma, possibly ginger and a bit of fruitiness. Light flavored beer. Sweet, some spice - first taste reminds me of a snickerdoodle. Needs a bit more body and some more malt backing.
