Hazy yellow body and okay foam. Very faint papaya with chalk on the nose, altogether too faint. Taste is mellow papaya and chalk, finishing crisp. Somehow tastes like something and nothing at the same time - someone call Dr. Who.

Deep clear gold body and good foam. Okay caramel and pine on the nose, slight orange zest. Taste is malty orange zest, soft pine notes. Good crisp finish with proper oiliness. I can get behind this.

Big light, moderate sour. Light salt. But mostly a limey sour beer, and I like the character. Not complex or anything like that, but hits the spot.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy palish and greenish blond colour, with medium sized sparse head. Mild aroma of citrus. The mouthfeel is very dry, which unfortunately highlights the flour-y character of the grains, and the astringency in the finish; also, some sweetness would help this hops to appear more juicy, instead there's just citrus peel, without much brightness; the light hop burn is welcome in this scenario.
Good, but I expected something different.

473mL can, pours a cloudy, murky yellow with a medium white head. Nose bursts with tropical fruits, piney hops, some resins, and biscuity malt. Flavour is loaded with piney hops upfront, followed by bitter citrus rind, and a little tropical fruit. Finishes piney, with ample bitterness on the citrus rind.

473mL can, pours a cloudy slightly golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of spicy coriander upfront, followed by some citrus hops and citrus peel. Flavour is quite floral, with lots of coriander, gentle spiciness, citrus hops, and a crisp biscuity malt. Very spicy and floral character in a very tasteful way. Surprisingly good.

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, long lasting, brown head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, licorice, prune, coffee, ash and a hint of coconut in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium to full body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Very tasty, the alcohol is well hidden.
