On draft at the brewery. Pours deep and dark black with a thin layer of brown head. Dark chocolate and roasted coffee on the nose. Very thick and creamy mouthfeel, velvety. Some really nice complexity, chocolate notes, freshly brewed coffee, some toffee notes as well, really nice

Pours a black from a can. Light malt aroma, sort of a light watery chocolate. Thin. Okay beer.

From my brother: pours a deep gold with a white head. Aroma is soapy and bready. Taste is lightly bitter. Kind of sweet. A simple session. Not good or bad.

From my brother: pours copper with a thick frothy head. Aroma is pine and hefty grapefruit. Taste is fairly bitter... not sure how old this is but still packs a punch. Interesting to drink an old school IPA in this era of everyone dealing in haze.

Pours a nice black from a bottle with a milk chocolate colored head. Aroma is dark chocolate, flavor similar with a nice cherry note. Although initially a little sweet, ends up nicely bitter. Very good beer.

Pours a black from a can with a brown head. Aroma is a nice chocolate, flavor is mostly roasted malt and chocolate, a pretty good beer, well-balanced.

Pours a surprisingly clear amber from a tap, given the whole "NE-IPA" thing. Nice grapefruit/orange aroma, similar flavor along with a hint of pine. Pretty good beer.

Pours a nice rich brown from a bottle. Nice toffee and slight vanilla aroma, not picking up on much vanilla flavor, just a hint in the back, more toffee notes. Good beer.

Pours a black with an almost bluish tinge from a growler. Big nutty and cola aroma and flavor, nice herbal bitterness is there but not overpowering. Pretty well balanced. Good beer.
