About
The first beers were brewed during February 2002, and are listed under the original brewery.

The brewery merged withthe Orkney Brewery in June 2004 to become part of Highlands & Islands Breweries Ltd, although brewing for the two breweries remains separated. Following the failure of Highlands & Islands, the company was brought by Sinclair Breweries Ltd. The brewery closed in early 2010 with production being transferred to the Orkney site.

500ml bottle from Wrekin Whiskies, Shrewsbury. Pours a deep chestnut amber, off-white head. Good caramel nose, nice soft nutty caramel character to taste with additional burnt brown sugar. Smooth, balanced, delicious Scottish Ale.

From cask at the Forth Inn in Aberfoyle. Golden color, white head, very good "blonde" taste, almost like a good Belgian blonde.

Bottle in Abz. It pours clearish yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, lemony fresh, white bread and biscuit. The taste is soft, fresh, zingy lemon, white bread, biscuit, straw and grass with a dry finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Tastes pretty fresh and zingy. Not bad. Cask is a bit better though.
