Coriander, green apple, and lots of pears on the nose. Cloudy yellow, lots of carbonation, enormous head. The bottle erupted with carbonation when I opened it. Leafy green apple flavor which transforms into pears, never all that tart. Grassy at times. Carbonation was not as harsh as it might have appeared. Not a typical hefeweizen. In fact, it also has elements of a Belgian blonde and witbier. Interesting.

Bottle in Rome. Clear amber beer, no real head. Dry crispy palate. Sweet malt with a mild toffee streak. Really not getting much in the way of hops. Some caramel in the finish. An okay sweet malty beer.

Bottle in Rome. Hazy light gold beer. Frothy white head. Light dry crisp palate with a carbonated sting in the tale. Light lemony citrus. Dry malty finish. Hugely dissapointed - was really looking forward to this. No real tea characteristics here and at 10 Euros for a bottle it’s poor value.

A hazed reddish copper ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, a nice sweet spiced malt with dark fruits, banana esters, light smokey notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice peaty malt with prunes, bananas, a bit of cloves, rich and smooth. On tap at Birreria, Dec. 27 2011.

Draft. Murky amber color, small tan head. Aroma of lightly spiced caramel. Taste of licorice and caramel. Interesting, but I couldn’t drink very much of it.

Blond body, white creamy head. Aroma of caramel, hops, raspberries, wine and ... urine (but fortunately diminishing). Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour which is quite nice contrary to the aroma. Still not great, somewhat out of balance.

Bottle. Flat. Sour aroma. Tons of grape in the taste, but not much sourness or funk. Complex, interesting flavor.
