Hazy yellow pour with a decent white head. Aromas of malt, mango, pienapple, orange. Taste is quite similar, albeit a bit thin (given the ABV), slightly bitter finish with herbal notes. Not bad.

Can at home. Great pour and a very well balanced beer. Hops are there but don't burn the mouth and a certain wineyness to the whole package. Very good.

Gift from a good friend. Insipid pour, doesn't look like much in the glass. And it tastes watery. Not worth the units.

A hazy brown colour, with a small, quickly dissipating beige head. Aromas of cookies, chocolate, nuts, and dried fruit. Not as nutty as the name suggests, with notes of dark chocolate and roastiness, tart fruitiness. A decent enough stout, but the nutty is the only aroma.

Keg at Mad Squirrel High Wycombe, 27/02/2026.
Black with little in the way of a head.
Nose is dark malts, molasses, cocoa powder.
Taste comprises mellow roast, earthy fruit rings, brown sugar melt, toffee, chocolate biscuit.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Passable impy stout ... just rather generic and lacking depth of flavour.

Can picked up from Sainsbury's, Hereford after Annasley picked us up from the station. Had this shared with Baz. 26th February 2026 around Jude and Baz's, Spond, Herefordshire whilst making Pizza, well Loz is making it I am just assisting. Pours dirty gold/yellow with a clingy white head. The nose is mostly citrus, but there is an apricot touch also. The flavour follows a similar trajectory but leaning more towards summer fruits, peaches, apricots but with a streaky citrus tang. It's a nice beer. Score 7.3
