Keg at ZeroDegrees Reading. Looked quite nice - an amber-chestnut colour with a creamy coloured head and a pleasantly soft fizz. And that was all that was nice about it; this tasted like a glassful of brewing flaws. Cardboard & a hint of metal. Butterscotch. Cough mixture. Pear drops. More cardboard. It's pretty unpleasant - I'm not sure what it was meant to taste like, but surely not this?

[On tap at Zerodegrees, Reading.] A copper coloured pour with a tight white head; aroma of yeast and caramel; sweetish malty taste balanced by the yeast; then a light fruity bitterness. Very drinkable.

It doesn’t have much in common with Czech beers but it’s quite nice
