Tap at the Kamun Lab Pub, Genoa. Pours cloudy yellow/gold with a small white head. Aroma of lime, lemon, lemongrass, basil and coriander. Light sweetness, light citrus sour. Light body with fine carbonation.

Keg at the brewpub in Genoa. A dull brown reddy coloured pour with a loose greyish white head. Aroma is musty dark fruit, nutty brown bread, hint of infection, alcohol and green apple. Some acetone on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of medium sweet malts, nutty and toffee, tangy fruit, musty, more nail polish remover. Palate is medium sweet, sticky and lifeless, lowish carbonation. Not a fan.

Cask at the brewpub in Genoa. A murky dark brown coloured pour with a a creamy light tan head. Aroma is smokey wood, vanilla, oak, meaty,.. Flavour is composed of sweet coco, chocolate powder milky roast, dark fruit, prune. Palate is flat and milky, medium bodied. Chocolate and tangy fruit lingering.

Keg at the brewpub in Genoa. A translucent yellow straw coloured pour with a thin white frorh. Aroma is spices, camomile, orange, leather, doughy wheat grains. Flavour is composed of tangy citrus, rough tangy wheat, stale grains, vanilla. Palate is tangy and doughy grains. Lingering lemon floral.

Keg at the brewpub in Genoa. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a a lasting sticky white head. Aroma is fruit berry, apricot jam, bready grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet raw grains, jammy fruits, faint citrus. Palate is grainy, moderate carbonation. Ok.

At a tasting, thanks, small stable bubbly beige head, very dark brown color, aroma of toasted bread and roasted coffee with chocolate cake in the back, dark bread flavor with some smokey notes and dark chocolate in the back, light mellow bitterness. Very nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Max. Dark brown to black. Aroma of roastiness, coffee, vegetal note, some chocolate. Rather dry flavor with light sweetness, sourish hint, roast, some coffee, some chocolate. Medium-bodied. Decent.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, cloudy slightly intense yellow color, aroma of lemon, shrubs and some ginger in the back, flavor of lemon, ginger, and a hint of wassabi, herbal tea and fruit. Nice.

At a tasting, thanks, small stable bubbly head, hazy quite deep orange color, light aroma of citrus and flowers, flavor of vanila, yeast and some grapefruit with a soapy bitterness, artificial citrus notes in the back. Fair and drinkable but not too exciting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Stas & Max. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of lots of lemon, some ginger, yeast, wheat, soap. Sweetish and tart flavor with wheat, lemon, yeast, mild ginger. Light to medium-bodied. Quite easy-drinking. OK for what it is.
