About
Our beer is brewed across two sites. The first is our original brewery at the Old Flax Store, this is where we began our journey in 2014, and is home to our LDS tap room. We expanded into our second much larger brewery, Sydenham Road, in April 2017. Between both sites we can brew up to 18 beers at a time.
The Old Flax Store is a Grade II listed building located in Holbeck, the spiritual heart of the industrial revolution. In 2014 we turned this derelict mill into a brewery, tap room and events space. This building is home to our first brewery, which takes up the ground floor of the building. Our second brewing site is also located in Holbeck, half a mile away at Sydenham Road, where 8 x 100HL conical FVs enable our total capacity at this site to reach 24,000HL.

440ml can from Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy green head! The aroma is roasty, mint. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a smootn, rich, roasty, cool mint, creamy coconut, smooth, light herbal, fresh minty palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. I really enjoyed this but I understand why other might not.

The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, somewhat light, slightly watery, melon, light herbal, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, smooth, grassy, piney, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, fresh, melon, mineral, watery, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation. It’s fine but not a beer I’d buy a second time.

Can at home shared with Laura. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, sweetish chocolate, slightly "hopjesvla", vanilla, "koetjesreep". Pff not my kind of beer tbh. Too sweet.

440ml can @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, Feb 26. Pours dark, unclear, with a good tan head. Lots of gooey marshmallows from the off.. sweet and then some.. marginal chocolate cookie notes.. not my go-to adjunct stout but achieves its purpose well.

0,33 can. Nagyon szép mély, mahagóni szín, kitöltéskor sötét barna habbal, ami hamar elillant, de előtte szép volt. Aroma: teljes mértékben visszaadja azt, ami rá van írva: csokoládé, karamell, keksz. Nagyon jó az illata, és intenzív is. Jóval testesebbnek tűnik az 5,2 %-hoz képest ivás közben. Nagyon jó, kerek, édeskés, testes, kekszes, és alapjában véve nagyon csokis, finom hatás. Kiemelkdően finom ízesített porter, nagyon nagyon ajánlatos! Lecsengése kesernyés, kávés, mégis aszalt szilvás, nagyon jó.
