From my dear brother: Pours black with a creamy head. Some salty pretzel smell, dark chocolate malt, and a hint of coffee. Taste is lightly bitter. It is very dry, Leaves some lingering dryness and dark chocolate. Not bad.

355mL bottle, pours jet black with a medium tan / brown head. Nose brings out loads of fresh maraschino cherries, over top subtler roasted malt that is more or less drowned out by the cherries. Flavour brings out dry, subtly tart cherries upfront, along with roasted malt, and some powdery dry cocoa powder. The cherries do dominate, but it's still clear this is an impie stout through and through, with a soft, velvety, creamy body. Finishes on the subtly tart, dry cherries. Solid stuff, considering I don't normally like fruited stouts.

Bottle with thanks to kbudd12! Pours opaque black with a medium dark brown head, creamy, dissipates slow with nice lacing. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, cherry. Flavor is the same, medium sweet, just a bit of bitterness, dark fruits, cherry (but kind of fakish), touch of bourbon. Grows off me as I drink it, but not bad per se. Fair bit of astringence. Medium-full body and quite creamy mouthfeel.
