Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a nice large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with tart and dry bitter notes is singular. Taste is a nice mix of roasted malt with some black chocolate with some tart and lightly sour notes. Body is bit lighter then I was expecting. Interesting experiment but not favorite of this series.

355ml bottle from 2015 Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Pours a clear golden with a thin, fizzy, off-white head. Fruity aroma with yeast, alcohol, spice and light funk. Sweet, fruity flavour with yeast, spice, grass and a dry, bitter, warming alcohol finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.

2015 beer advent. Pours golden. Fruity and relying on its belgian yeast to dominate, unfortunately the off flavours shine though a little much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with black chocolates notes and light whiskey notes is quite pleasant. Taste is also a good mix of roasted malt with sweet creamy black chocolates notes with some light vanilla and whiskey not sot round off any rough edges. Body is about average for style with good carbonation and real apparent alcohol notes. Quite enjoyable for the style.

Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a large size brown foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some tart notes is intriguing. Taste is also a mix of roasted malt with bitter notes with some tart notes with light acidic notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Interesting mix of flavours and interesting experiment to recreate old London porter but not something I would seek on a regular basis.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a nice dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of deep roasted malt notes with some smooth black chocolate notes and light rum notes are quite interesting. Taste is a nice mix of roasted malt with some smooth black chocolate notes with some light residual sugar notes and some light rum barrel notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable beer but the rum barrel notes could have been even more pronounced in my opinion.

On tap at Barley Brothers. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma is a bit muddled with musty grain, earthy citrus and grass notes. Flavor has some sweet citrus with grass notes, sweet grains and a hint of butterscotch underlying.
