Wee bottle from the source. It pours clear super pale greenish - gold with no head. The aroma is earthy, nutty, apple skin, juicy, ripe tangy apple, dried apple, honey like sweetness, dessert apple, touch of vanilla custard, splash of white wine and dry oak. The taste is firm and dry upfront, pleasing oak tannins before it sweetens up a bit, slick and fruity, lovely ripe apple vibes, crunchy, crispy, sweet dessert apple, boiled sweets, English white wine, light melon, pear and limited alcohol presence (dangerous!), drying up through the finish. Medium body and slick, slightly oily mouth-feel. Can't help but love it. Feel subtle, restrained initially, but that's mostly because of the great balance. Dangerously drinkable.

Bottle from Biddenden. It pours clear super pale greenish - gold with a quickly dissipating fizzy head. The aroma is sweet dessert apple, sugary, apple skin, damp oak, hay and wet grass. The taste is initially crisp and crunchy, refreshers, sweet - sour, some pucker, dessert apple, light acidity, juicy, soor plooms, dry oak and hay with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, fizzy carbonation. Fresh and quenching. Aroma is sweet, but taste is better balanced.

The taste is crisp, firmly dry, bitter - sweet, juicy, spritzy, green crisp apple, gooseberry, white grape, vinous, boozy kick, fizzy candy, gummy candy, oily and light tannin with a slick, fruity finish. Medium body and fine, fizzy carbonation. Not a huge amount of it, but sure drinks easy for an 8+%er.

Box @ Freed Man, Walmer. Pale red rose and slightly soured in both its nose and finish with its apple. However, there is a blast of sweetness in its initial red apple taste.
