Very herbal & maybe I was always determined to find this one not hitting the mark. well spiced, with star anise, cinnamon, coriander & a bit of chili. But there’s a lot of citrus & not nearly as umami as I’d hoped. A decent beer, more pho-like as it warns

Bottle split at CCV, thanks to John, Cotteridge Wines 08/06/19. Murky amber to brown pour with a good sized light beige cap. Nose is tangy fruit esters, orange peel, candied fruits. Taste comprises dried fruits, toffee, mellow roast, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair.

Hazy golden colour, tall and long lasting white frothy head. Smells of spicy yeast, floral notes, light perfume, wheat bread. Taste: medium dry to light sweet, malty, spicy, floral, wheat, hop. Light plus bitterness, warming alcohol. Palate: medium minus body, proper carbonation. Overall: solid

Black with a tan head. Aroma of malt, fudge, fruity hops, red berries and roasty notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Definitely infected. Pours blackish brown with good head and lacing. Tangy bretta finish. Bottle in Thailand somewhere.

Definitely a lot of orange zest in this one. Also some pepper, a little floral aroma. Pours hazy orange with ok head. Light tangy end. Bottle.
