Cloudy golden color. Fruity, skunky, and rotten flavors, some yeast, some banana, fairly sweet.
Train wreck.

2016-01-19, bottle from Darby’s Liquor, Vancouver, 6-4-7-3-13=33
Hazy golden color, medium sized head. Mellow brew with tiny Belgian character (usually found in beers with less alcohol), moderate malt depth, a bit fruity, with a mellow oak or vanilla character, and very low bitterness; the alcohol is well concealed; it has a good amount of fruity esters.
A bit unbalanced; soft and sweet; but not bad.

2015-01-04, draught at Collective on Tap, Woodinville, WA; 11.4% ABV, 6-3-7-3-12=31
Hazy golden color with creamy head. The aroma is too mild, the flavor is sweetish, the body is bold and a bit oily, ordinary bitterness, light yeast fruitiness, clear alcohol perception.
Not bad, but confusing.

355ml bottle from 2015 Craft Beer Advent Calendar. (7.3% ABV) Pours an unclear, reddish brown with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of dark fruit, bready malt, toffee and nuts. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, dark fruit, nuts and light spice with a dry, bitter, sour, slightly astringent finish. Medium body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Interesting.

2015 beer advent. Pour a cloudy amber with good carbonation levels. Relatively lightly spiced for a holiday ale. Slightly astringent taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at WA Winter Beer Festival 2015, pours a hazy orange amber win a small beige head. Aroma brings out complex notes of bourbon, overripe fruits, and caramel. Flavour matches accordingly, with big complex bourbon notes, stone fruits, caramel and booze. The barrels are used to perfection. Fairly fruity, with a boozy finish. Excellent.

A small fizzy head on this dark brew. I really couldn’t get in this one. It seemed like quite a mess. It had some classic dubbel traits but none of them were I concert with each other. They were very disorganized. An unpleasant earthy note throughout. Not something I’ll be having again.

Apricot and florals. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Sweet and sour finish. Good mix, easy drinking. My kind of blonde Belgian strong.

Mash malt, not much hops. Orange pour. Light tang. Doesn’t taste much like a Belgian ale or an IPA. Tap at Barley Brothers Stadium.

Dull amber, thin head. Aroma is a bit plasticy and phenolic, and the taste is plasticy, and has a slightly estery element.
