Cask gravity at Six Bells Woodchurch. Clear gold thin collar of white bubbles. Bit of straw touch of puke even. Not that good.

Bottled. Pale gold in colour with slight carbonation and next to no head. Aroma of hay with a touch of fruit and dusty hops. Flavour of cereal malts, with a touch of sweetness and moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask (handpump) @ Richard John Blackler - JDW, Units 1 & 2, Charlotte Row, Great Charlotte Street, Liverpool, Merseyside, England L1 1HU.ABV: 4.1%. Clear medium yellow - amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, apple and toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120117]

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London at 4.1%. Pours clear, brown-gold with a foamy, white head. Tangy-bready malt nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, light toasted bread, leaves, faint ripe fruits. Sweet finish with more bread, faint caramel, light tangy fruits. Nothing special.
