Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours pale gold and hazy with a white head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Taste is light citrus and pine; a bit resinous but very sessionable. Good.

Good light-beige head over reddish, near-black beer. Dark malts, melanoidins, aromatic hops. Very dry, husky. Some dry, dark malts. Medium bodied, very slick. Nice, if certainly not stellar black IPA.

12 oz. bottle. Pours brown-black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is similar to nose, with some coffee notes. Finish is dry, roasty, and acidic. Decent.

On tap at Craft Pride. Pours a very dark brown with beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong bourbon, cocoa, caramel, wood. Thick mouth, creamy, caramel, bourbon, vanilla, nice sweetness, really enjoyed this one.

Tap at craft pride in Austin. Moderate low citrus and faint pine. Clear deep yellow with full white head that retains. Taste is moderate juicy citrus. Moderate bitterness leads to a quick finish.

On tap at Zax. Short lived creamy head, but leaves curtains of lacing. Ruby tinged body, biting roast grains in both aroma and taste. Lingering dark chocolate on the palate. Comes off mild, but this is pretty big.

On tap at Flix Brewhouse. Very dark mahogany with a small lingering tan head. Nose is citrus and pine with a big helping of espresso and roasted nuts. Very bitter with dark chocolate and coffee contributing as much as pine and grapefruit. Medium- slick mouth with soft carbonation and a long bitter finish. Decent.

Can, small creamy head, lively caronation, hazy palish yellow color, aroma of lemon amd herbs, lemony fruity flavor with a light bitterness and a medium lemony sourness. Easy and enjoyable.

Bottle from gregwilsonstl, thanks for the opportunity! Solid black color with a smallish off white head. Roasty, earthy, cereal grain, light smoke and burnt sugar weigh heavy on the nose. Thick viscous creamy mouthfeel with a touch if alcohol. Light sweet brown sugary malt flavor with plenty of molasses, roast, and dark caramel. Light dark pitted fruit flavor with hints of ethanol and a light graininess. Medium to full body with a light level of carbonation. Huge big thick stout, I wasn’t quite expecting that from the oatmeal stout on the label, but very nice sipper on this cool fall night.
