Maybe it’s me, but I don’t understand why they would do a pils brewing contest. The lager market is declining, they should focus on ales. This is just one more pilsner.

Same as the pilsner, but a little bit more hoppy and grainy. Hencforth, it’s a little bit better.

Why is this labeled a bock? It’s more like a malty amber beer. Quite boring actually.

One of the better bockbeers from the big Dutch brewers, it’s a bit more malty and spicy. Still too sweet and flat though.

Can. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste sre grass, little soap, malt and hops.

Just to sort out some beers I have had, but didn’t rate. bottle at home, decent but standard beer, drinkable but not my favourite.

One of the better Dutch pilsners. A bit more bitter than most of the others. Still a pilsner though.
