Pours near black with a small tan head. It smells of dark roast malt, coffee, and a little chocolate. The flavor is similar with a good balance. Medium bodied with a roasty finish. It’s pretty good. I think the flavor could have been a little more robust, but it works okay.
keg at Borefts 2023 Saturday.. golden... thin white lacing.. soft dry herbal hay nose. soft herbal hay

Tap @ Governors Pub & Eatery. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, malt, hops and straw. Light bitter finish.

Poured from the tap @ Mill Cove Brew Pub. Hazy amber with small off white head. Basic biscuit and caramel malt. Boring, but inoffensive.
More of an ashy muddled beer. Not ipa, somewhat cleanish, but not great for a light “lager”. Bridges sk

More like a blond ale... whtas the IPA in the name? Rather malty, caramel and sweet, decent hops, but not really hoppy.
