Bottle. A hazy, yellowish golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Milkysour nose with fruityness and some spiced hints. Flavorwise it’s not much better, with the same sourness and fruityness found in the aroma, although a bit more unpleasant. Medium body, quite dry. Certainly nothing impressive going on here. 120623

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is pale yellow. Aroma and taste are yeast, wheat malt and citrus. Not the best of brews.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark golden body under a small, firm, off-white head. Fruity, peachy nose with some dried fruits and a faint milkysour touch. Some sourness in the flavor too, as well as peaches and fruityness. Not much bitterness going on. Medium body, quite dry. Well, not my choice of beer, that’s for sure. Might be better just after release from the brewery, but it certainly hasn’t been doing well with a few months of cellaring. 120623

Large bottle bought in Paris in Dec. 2006, but as I couldn’t find any info about it or who made it, left un-posted. It says it contains rosehips (gratte-cul), also seems like it might have a bit of wheat in it. Dark golden color, orange tint. Very cloudy, good head. Aroma of coriander and other spices, decent malt with yeast. A bit of citrus as well. Flavor is slightly sweet with a sour, citrus edge as well. Lots of coriander. I cannot taste the rosehips per se, although they might be adding the citrus flavor. High carbonation, medium body. Finish is slightly sour, spicy, malty. Not a lot of hops, although the balance is altogether good. Like a good Belgian spiced ale. Very nice.
