Bottle. Aroma is fruit, toffee, maltiness. Taste is quiet sweet, lots of malt, maybe a bit milky(!), toffee, soft and easy drinking. Possibly some hoppiness lurking, but only just a hint of it. Pretty easy going beer.

Tap at Craft Beer Market Awajicho. Dark brown colour, small golden head. Aroma is interesting, bit funky, touch of smoke, liquorice, aniseed, leather. Taste is nice. Wouldn't immediately say chocolate, quite bitter, liquorice again, fruity punch. Quite a mix, with chocolate very low in the mix.

Tap at Bungalow. Name is a bit off-putting for me for some reason. Creamy wheaty. Nice enough though. Light citrus. Interesting mix.

Tap at ibrew. Aroma is caramel and bit of miso. Maybe only because I was looking for it. Bit fruity! Strawberry, something lightly spicy too. Nice enough.

Bottle from Nagoya station. Aroma is a bit creamy, grassy hops, herbal. Taste is alright, crisp, little bit of sweetness, something a little strange. Got a macro feel to it, but it's alright.

On tap at iBrew. Amber golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee and caramel, malty. Taste is similar, sweet maltiness again, caramel. Nice enough.

Taster showing copper red with a finger of brown tinged foam. The nose shows mild notes of malt and miso. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Mild notes of sweet red miso.

Tap at Takumiya. Cloudy gold, bright and pretty, with a low, tight head. Estery, wheaty nose, weizen more than wheat ale, the hops come through nicely though. Relatively sweet weizen flavor, decent cirtusy hops, very grainy and wheaty. I like this better when it was an American wheat, but this is a decent hopfen weisse.
