Light brown hue, with an aroma showing light toasty notes and a touch of Goldings. The body is lean and firm, with some metallic notes, more toastiness, and some caramel flavours.

An odd name for a beer brewed on the service road just off a major freeway. It has a light malt-hop balance, with some yeasty notes.

Bubblegummy notes, much more malt than their other beers, and strangely some English hop notes in the finish. It's a little bit odd, but reasonably complex and worth trying.

Fuller body than it used to have; mellow malts, hints of molasses, earthy hop, well-done toast - the usual suspects in an English strong, but more restrained than I prefer. Still, this brewery's winter beers have both improved from where they used to be and it's getting time for their Abbey to come out again...

Brown colour; orangey, spicy, malty flavours. This ale has a lot more flavour and balance than it did a couple of years ago. Good show.
