Description
Wij van De Leckere genieten van het leven. In onze moderne brouwerij brouwen wij, sinds 1997, met passie karakteristieke, onderscheidende en vooral leckere bieren. Echt lekker bier met een eigen smaak voor de hedendaagse genieter.

Wij brouwen uitsluitend biologische bieren.

In 2023 werd de brouwerij failliet verklaard maar maakte nadien een doorstart als brouwerijhuurder.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy redish amber, off-white head. Aroma: Herbal, floral, dates, malt. Taste: Fruity dates and figs, well balanced herbal notes of anise and coriander, floral notes, hints of rose petals. Moderate to over moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, just under average cabonation. Dry finish. Indeed oriΓ«ntal feelings, although I doubt about historical references. There's a nice story about beer in ancient Egypt and the inspirations for this beer on the website of De Leckere. Ok overall.

Ok beer. Maybe 30th percentile. A bit muddled and homebrew-like. Looks nice amd clear though. Tastes like ancient brewing practice. Zilt ams

Good beer. True to the german style. But not quite as clean as a great version. The base is there, just needs to be tidied up. Zilt ams

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een bruin schuim. Het heeft een zoete caramel achtige geur. De smaak is zoet en fruitig met tonen van bessen.

Bottle, number 355/490. Color: Almost black, light brown head. Aroma: Dark and roasted malt, Whiskey. Taste: Smooth, malty, dark and a little roasted malt, caramel notes, black tea, subtle fruity blueberry. Very well balanced with some oak and Whiskey. Moderate sweet and moderate to over moderate bitter. And I really believe I taste and smell some leathery Brett funk too, although on this one, unlike some other De Leckere BA beers, isn't stated Brett on the label. As I Brett lover, it's ok for me but was it meant to be? Medium body, average carbonation. Dry-ish finish. Ok overall.

Black with a beige head. Dark caramel, sweet coffee and blue berry aroma. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. oddly light bodied for such a heavy beer.

250ml bottle. Clear, dark ruby, brown-ish colou rwith small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Initially rather weak, sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of rock sugar, light fruity overtones with a touch of plum and cherry; later some more depth, additional nutty malty hints, a touch of Brazil nut and chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish, dark and minimally nutty malty, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of rock sugar, Brazil nut, some chocolate, a fruity touch of cherry, plum, a very light metallic touch. Watery texture, smooth, minimally dry, repellent, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation. Well balanced, relatively light and drinkable - nice.
