Labeled as Bea’s sweet cherry honey mead lists an ABV of 10%: No cherry is detected on the nose, just honey, warm. Clear ruby red, still. Cherry and concord grape flavor with a tantalizing transition to honey. Medium body, good balance, alcohol tasteful. Well done. Don’t let the cheesy US label fool you, this is delicious mead.

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. A ruby colored mead without head or carbonation. Cherries and honey in the aroma, both equally evident. The flavor is pretty much the same, honey and cherries blended quite well. Some alcohol. Full body, slightly warming. A decent one, but I don’t care too much for blending cherries and mead. 100814
