Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, spicy, honey, cinnamomme ! Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat, fininsh feel is light moderate alcoholic. Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Pours clear gold. Big herbs on the nose. Sweet, tangy, lightly spicy flavor. Lots of sugar. Medium bodied. Not too hot on the finish, hints of cinnamon, cardamon and other spices. Really nice.

At Chriso Pre Gbbf 2011. Pale clear gold. Too herbal floral on aroma. Some decent honey. Too much herby but the mead is fine.

Had this at the 2011 mid summer morning mead tasting at Vintage, nice place, y’know? Very sweet aroma and taste, but its never clying like some beers can be. Almost like smellimg perfume. Can’t taste fig but it is like wine with heavy suger in there. Goes down easy. Too easy.

Had this at the 2011 mid summer morning mead tasting at Vintage, nice place, those people have the only mead sampling that I know about in the greater Pgh area. Sweet delicate aroma of mild coffee, so friendly and unlike rude coffee beer smells. Reddish orange. In the flavor, coffee is just there and its the perfect amount of off-mead spice. Pleasant and friendly, I was a little surprised. No co2 what so ever.
