Draught at Owl Farm: pours hazy yellowish, but it was dark with light carbonation. Aroma is honey, flowers, and figs. Taste is sweet honey, but a nice fruity note. Very pleasant.

Bottle served cold @TreeRock. Clear, vibrant gold. Lacey pour. Strong, boozy, buckwheat-like dark honey & sweet licorice nose. Re-fermenting, slight bubbles. Sharp apple sourness, cinnamon, ginger, cherry pit tannins. Not a pristine example, but still tasty.

Bottle pour @TreeRock. Clear, dusty, amber color. Heavy, dark honey, big oxidation on the nose. Lux, coating, graham cracker sweetness. Bright, citrusy, wild & cutting acidity, fitting amount of oxidation, light wax. So tasty. Blend 2 was sold out by the time I got here. Heard it was richer.

Bottle at Tree Rock, pours a cloudy golden yellow, no head. Nose brings out subdued chili spices, medium honey nectar and a herbal character. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of chili flavour without the spiciness, along with moderate honey sweetness. I don't quite understand the low ratings - it's quite solid.

Bottle at Tree Rock, pours a clear golden yellow, no head. Nose brings out subdued herbal notes and light honey nectar. Flavour is along the same lines, with a wonderful honey nectar character, with light herbal notes and some spices. Nicely crafted. Interesting.
