Bottle. It has a lighlty oily pour, clear and light golden in color. The aroma is mostly honey, with a distinct fruity and flowery twist I don’t really know if I like or not. Blackcurrant bush is what springs to mind. The flavor too goes in that direction, like a blend of blackcurrant and catpee. I don’t know really like that blend. Medium body, a bit oily and warming. Not bad in any way, but not my kind of mead. 111105

75 cL bottle at Sunset Grill. Pours clear and golden yellow with no head. Aroma is dry honey herbal. Sweet, sweet and honey herbal. Rather dry and honey hebral towatds the finish. Ends smooth and fruity into the finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear pale golden. Odd flowery honey aroma. Medium body, sweet and buttery with flower accents and perhaps this edge of figs found in another of the same meadery’s products - a house character? The buttery notes are less pleasing though. 071011
