Bottle picked up at Malvern Spring Show 13-05-06. A warm gold verging toward orangey colour, suprised by how clear it poured, very good traditional cidery smell musty, woody. Taste is dry, dry dry, but very good if you like that sort of thing. This is a very decent cider and if you are into an apple flavoured Saharan delight then this would be right up your street it’s not for me but my partner Loz finished it and loves this sort of thing.

From a polypin at Battersea Beer Festival 2006. I have to go with SilkTork on this one. Pale gold, no head. Red pear aroma, which is not huge but the flavour is terrific. Very good pear fruit which is fleshy and succulent. Not overly sweet. Some wood and then quite a dry finish. Yummy

[From a barrel at GBBF 2005] A hazy orange cider with no head. The aroma is sweet yeasty and apply. While the flavor is a boring applejuice flavor combined with notes of alcohol.

An unclear dark orange cider with no head. The aroma is sweet and like over ripe fermenting apples. The flavor is sweet with notes of apple core and yeast leading to a dry end.
