Bottle picked up the Droom. Missus did some eyelash fluttering to get one each of the threesome available at the time. One had apparently “sold out”. Anyway. Slightly gloopy pour sits hazed deep orange gold. Slim ring of white. Looks a tad lifeless overall, much the same as the other two. But then the nose is nicely woody with sweet vanilla and sweet grape and raisin. 3F funk writ large. Taste is a little sweet and citrusy first off, which was unexpected. Gets nicely tart. Barely any acidity. No way this feels the 9.2%. Turns juicy and woody on the finish. Drinkability is well high.

Bottle picked up at 3F. Fairly flat pour sits misted pale-ish gold. Very slim white foam. It’s no looker. Nose has a lot of soppy wood. Watery cognac. Then there’s a really nicely fresh, slightly sharp herbal note. Obviously the Akkevit barrels are kicked in here. Akin to lemongrass and fennel. Apparently Akkevit is infused with dill, and I definitely can see that. Underneath there’s that familiar 3F leathery funk that always reminds me of being sat in the Droom. Taste is a little tart, a little dry and has a soft woody, lightly boozy bitterness. Finish is along similar lines. It’s unfortunate the condition is a bit off (maybe given time it could change, although I think maybe not) because there’s a great beer in here and a pretty unique one. Regardless very enjoyable and one in short supply I’m lucky to have tried.

Bottle, very little head, cloudy dark red colour and a bit oxidized, aroma of horse shit, minerals, a bit of vanila and just a hint of red fruits and spiciness, flavour of red fruits, lactic notes and a hint of spiciness, medium strong under ripe and lactic sourness. Nice and enjoyable.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, thin and dense white head. Aroma: Fruity, some funk and oak wood. Taste: Fruity lime, gooseberry and unripe white grape. Moderate to over moderate tartness. Some rural funk and oak wood. Hints of vanilla and minerals. Nicely balanced. Refreshing. Medium body, below average carbonation.

0.75l bottle, thx guys! Full dark red body, tiny pinkish head. Sour cherry, dried sour cherry aroma, light funk, sweetish, lovely. Heavily minerally taste, sour, lovely sour cherry taste, some pits, the elevated sourness still being well integrated, not that much almond/glue for a cherry beer of any kind. Class!
