Aus der Flasche im 2026-05 getrunken. Bei einem Cider mit roten Beeren bin immer etwas skeptisch ob es nicht zu süß ist. Und in der Nase zeigt das Beerenaroma und suggeriert schon ein deutlich Süße bei der Intensität. Doch sehr überraschend ist es am Gaumen recht ausbalanciert was Frucht, Säure und leichte Süße angeht. Ein einfaches aber süffiges Beeren-Cider.

0,30 l bottle from a supermarket at Madeira. BB 04/27. Clear golden in the glass, small white head. Sweet citrus with caramel on the nose, little bit musty. Taste starts with sweet cereales, some pale malt in the background. Soft bitterness. Little bit above average carbonation. Easy drinker.

0,33 l bottle from a Pingo in Funchal. BB 06/26. Clear darker golden in the glass, small one finger white head. Malt with a lot of resin and honey on the nose. Taste starts with floral hop bitterness, also with honey and resin. Malt in the second row. Higher carbonated than expected. Nice old school IPA.

0,25 l bottle from a Spar in Câmara de Lobos, Madeira. BB 09/26. Mid golden in the glass, small short living one finger head. Grainy malty aroma, some citrus. Taste has also cereales, caramel with some sweetness, and pale fruity. Low bitterness, above average carbonated. Very easy to drink.
