Bottle shared at kermis tasting. Hazy dull golden. Spicy saison, peach, yoghurt, herbal, wheat, sweet malts and oak. Medium sweet and sour, light bitter. Medium bodied. Maybe too old, but I'm not impressed.

Bottle shared at the 2025 Pre-Christmas/NY Zaandam Borrel. Poured a murky, light orange brown colour with a little life. The aroma is peachy, citrus. The flavour is modern sour, with a crisp, fresh, juicy apricot peachy, acidic, dry, yeasty palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very, crisp, fresh and juicy.

Troebele goud-rozige body met een grove witte kraag. Geur van hout/tannines, zurig, zacht fruit. Meer fruit retronasaal. Smaak is zurig met een vleugje zoet. Lichte tot medium body. Droge afdronk.

Sample uit 75cl fles, 2018, Zaandam Kerst/NY tasting. Troebelgele kleur, witte kraag. Druiven, wat zwavel, licht peperig, kruidig, droog, zuur, hout, gaat een beetje alle kanten op, bitter, de saison is ver weg. Lichte body.

Sample uit 75cl fles, Zaandam Kerst/NY tasting. Mistig oranjegouden kleur, dunne witte kraag. Funky, zuur, hout, abrikoos en passievrucht zijn duidelijk aanwezig, licht citroenzuurtje, redelijk fris. Lichte body. Niet helemaal mijn ding, maar wel smakelijk.

750mL bottle at Ammutsøn, pours a clear copper with a tiny white head. Aroma is very vinous, showcasing all the wine barrels, including the port, along with oak, and beautiful leather barnyard funk. Flavour is impeccably complex, with tons of port wine barrel, red wine, leather funk, light-to-moderate acidity that’s kept in check, finishing tart, funky, and vinous. Not the best Bokke out there but quite a unique one. Lovely treat.
