(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Strawy and slightly bready malty aroma with doughy accents and notes of grassy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly strawy malt-character with shy traces of cara-malt and doughy notes; quite dry mouthfeel for a Bock, mildly bitter hoppy and slightly sweet finish, again with grassy and slightly herbal finish. A drinkable souped up Pils. 22.VI.12

Bügelverschlußflasche: Skunky-yeasty nose with a grassy-hoppy background, golden and hazy with a creamy white head; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, creamy MF, light bodied; slightly lingering hoppy-bitter and sweet-malty finish. Odd aroma, but all in all well crafted by hessian standards…

Bottle: Golden, hazy, stable off-white foamy layer, bisquity-honeyish nose, alcohol and herbal hlps detectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; tart hops detectable in the bisquity-herbal-alcoholic finish. So far the best brew from Bier-Hannes…
