Trocken malziger Antrunk mit geradlinig verlaufendem Aroma. Eine leichte Getreidenote und eine ebenso leichte Muffigkeit treten ab dem Mittelteil im Hintergrund auf, das Malz bleibt trocken, wird aber durch eine leicht süße Note etwas aufgelockert. Fast unbemerkt wird das Malz durch eine auftretende Karamellnote kräftiger, wirkt aber weiterhin eher zahm. Passend hefig werdend, so langsam beginnt der Alkohol zu wirken und eine leichte Wärme zu verbreiten. Hierzu passt auch die herbe Schokolasigkeit im Nachgeschmack. Gelungen! Zart blumig-getreidiger Antrunk mit etwas wässriger Herbe. Die Herbe festigt sich, verzieht sich aber gleichzeitig in den Hintergrund. Das Bier wird hier mehr vom Hopfen bestimmt, der sich auch mit einer wenig bitteren Komponente bemerkbar macht. Ausgewogen, etwas getreidig, wie auch im Antrunk sehr blumig, etwas grasig. Auch im Abgang ausgewogen, hier wir das Pils aber schnell recht schwach. Wenig hopfig, schwach herb. Danke an Erzengel. Test vom 28.12.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,10,9,8,8,9 - 9,15

Cloudy deep blond color, with a medium sized head. Strange aroma, some malt, but also smell of musky cellar, used socks, light alcohol. Correct body; malt flavor, but rather vulgar in quality; the flavor is also a bit dusty and of old beer; the bitterness is quite strong, and the alcohol perception is a bit too high. Definitively, not a great beer.

Hazy golden color; generous head. Even if the biergarten is full and hopefully the sales are high, the aroma smells like cork and old beer. The carbonation is high, and the flavor too is somehow affected by the same flaw; the malt flavor is anonymous, the sweetness is moderate and correct for the style, as well as the bitterness level. But the corky and dusty character are really unwanted.

Cloudy golden-amber color; big head. It’s a simple Lager, sweeter than the average, but also with basically no aroma, ordinary flavor, a bit grassy and with hay . Very simple, poor flavor, dry, with paper flavor; ordinary bitterness. Poor.

Herber Antrunk mit hell-malzig und passend alkoholischen Noten, die sich in gutem Verhältnis zueinander präsentieren. Der Hopfen umfasst die Aromen, ist aber nicht aufdringlich und macht sich daher nur randlich bemerkbar. Im Verlauf würziger werdend, die Herbe rückt mehr in den Vordergrund. Süffig, dennoch passend würzig und meist auch mit honigartigem und holzigem Tiefgang – Gelungen! Danke an Erzengel für das Bier! 8/11/12/12/12/12

swing top bottle 500ml.-Clear amber coloured, big off-white head that stays for a while, weak malty caramel nose. Toasted malt, caramel and mild hoppy with light nutty notes. Dry bitterish and a bit watery finish. Lack of body and alcohol makes this beer average.

swing top bottle 500ml.-Nice murky pale amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, odd fruity nose with notes of tomato. Sweet malty, fruity and yeasty with mild wheaty and spicy notes. Slightly acidic finish. Pretty ordinary weizen, expected better.

swing top bottle 500ml.-Cloudy yellow coloured, medium sized white head, yeasty nose with mild touch of fruits. Moderate malty, fruity and yeasty with flowery hoppy finish and aftertaste. Pleasant zwickel.

(draught at the Biergarten of the brewery) Hazy, amber colour with a thick and persistent foamy white head. Slightly mouldy yeasty and moderately sweet toast-malty aroma with light notes of caramel, cacao, grassy and woody hops. Light-bitter flavour, light bodied with a well-carbonate, almost crispy mouthfeel. Quite slim toast-malty base with caramel, cacao/chocolate, as well as herbal and slightly grassy hops; rather dry and slim toasty bitter and hoppy finish. Not bad, lacks body (05.VIII.09).
