750ml wired cork bottle from Cat in the Glass. Opened with a small pop. Yellowy gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of perry pear, citric, floral. Taste is sweet, flowery, perry pear, citric, with tartness, gooseberry, elderflower notes, acidity and light tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying peary tart finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sparkling, yellow gold colour, fizzy white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of perry pear, fruit, flowery, funk. Taste is sweetish, perry pear, woody, tangy, funky, floral, with citric acidity and alittle tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying peary finish. Nicely drinkable.

Panda from Danlo, thanks Ed. Pours clear very pale yellow, no head. Aroma: pear, lightly floral. Taste: bittersweet, then dry, champagne like spritziness, floral, light funk. Mild tartness. Delicate. Medium body with no carbonation

Panda at home thanks to Ed Danlo. A mostly clear pale straw petrol coloured pour with a fading white fizz. Aroma is nice earthy pear, woody, quince, freshfruit, mild funk, white wine. Flavour is composed of crisp woody pears, woody pips, lemon twist, quince. Palate is crisp and tart, mellow carbonation, semi crisp finish.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 22/10/24. Pale washed out yellow with a fast escaping white cap. Nose is bitter sweet pears, hedgerow, light balsa wood, herb. Taste comprises tangy pears, orchard wood, modest acidity, barnyard nip. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy refreshing pear jus.
