Cask at GBBF 2010. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet and some roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of roasted malt and soy sauce, leading to a dry finish.

On tap somewhere! Clear brown beer. Malty with a fruity and semi dry finish. A little hop prescence.

Half, cask at Stockbridge Tap, Edinburgh. Slightly hazy, amber coloured body. Creamy, low white head. Subdued malt-fruity aroma. Ditto taste profile with dry bitter resin towards the ending. Very average, 28.11.2010.

Cask at GBBF 2009. Black, thin tan head. OK. Little thin in the mouth, but some choc and liquorice in the swallow. OK, too much liquorice for me which is never my favourite flavour in a stout.

Deep ruby coloured body. Almost burnt aroma of dark malts. Acidity of dark malts in flavour offset by hints of chocolate malts. Maybe a little too much sweetness towards the ending, but otherwise quite alright for a stout with this low alcohol strength (Sampled at the rating table, GBBF 05.08.2009).

Cask@GBBF 2009. Very dark ruby color, not much head. Some dark caramel, toasted notes, vanilla. Light palate. Light toasted coffeish flavor, dark malts. A bit harsh finish.
