Description
Old Spot Brewery was set up in 2005 at Manor Farm, in Station Road, and was named after an old farm sheep dog that used to live outside the brewery and lived to a happy old 21 years.

Cask at GBBF 2015 - London. Pours clear copper-gold with a light, creamy head. The nose holds dried berries, a little wood, bread. Light sweet flavour, dry, leafy hops, light grain, berry skins. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Dry finish, some minerality, wood and leaves, more berry skins, light breadiness. OK.

Skipton Beer Festival 2019. Copper coloured and a very easy bitter, with a low bitterness and a low malty-sweetness.

Cask at the 4th Olds & Bolds Beer Festival, Footscray Rugby Club, Eltham, April 2018. Copper coloured pour with a beige head. Aromas of raisin, toffee, orchard fruit. Flavours of toffee apple, nuts, caramel, more orchard fruit. Quite nice.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark clear copper-red with a creamy-frothy head. It's a sweetened malty bitter with some sugars and some red-berry flavours. It has a mid to high bitterness to finish.

Bradford Beer Festival 2018. Black with some roasted malts and a thinnish texture. It is thin with its milkiness.

Cask @ Old Bank, Bradford. Golden with a small creamy head. Fuller golden ale with a light and palatable tropical fruit aroma and taste, and a slight berry-sweetness.
